Quite Simply The Greatest Burger in America!
My Grandfather, Jim Brady, opened the original Diamond Jim Brady’s in 1954 on 7 Mile & Greenfield in Detroit. Along with my father, Tom Brady Sr., they spent their lives building relationships in our communities.
By serving up the finest food and drinks, with warm and personal hospitality, Diamond Jim Brady’s became an institution. Now, 70 years later, we are, and always have been, proud to be local people, serving local products with pride, passion and integrity.
Thank you for helping us carry on that tradition.
A native of Saginaw, Chef Jordan studied at the Great Lakes Culinary Institute, and refined his palate with positions at an esteemed variety of dining establishments across northern Michigan, including Tapawingo under chefs Pete Peterson and James Bloomfield, Chef Shari Smith at the Willard Hilton, and Siren Hall and Lulu’s under chef Michael Peterson. Most recently a sous chef for Peas and Carrots Hospitality, Chef Jordan is incredibly versatile – as passionate about preparing upscale main-course entrees and delicious comfort food as he is about the art of rolling sushi!

EXCELLENT Based on 453 reviews Posted on VickieVerified I enjoyed celebrating my birthday with friends. Drinks on point. Appetizers great. Food delicious! We love the carrot cake! A must have! I had a whiskey mule, steak bites, and Tuscan Tortellini. All were very good! I usually get the Fish and Chips. One of my Jim Brady's favorites.Posted on BruceVerified Our first trip to Jim Brady’s Royal Oak. Excellent all around. Happy hour pricing was great. Ordered from the daily specials menu. The stuffed sea bass was excellent as was the tortellini. The carrot cake was awesome, a huge shareable piece. Service was outstanding, and had a nice chat with the owner. Will definitely return!Posted on KennethVerified Slow service in general. The server blamed it on a shift change. Overall, the experience was decent. The noise level was too loud. The Lions were playing and they turned up the volume to where it was a challenge to socialize while dining. Several people did walk out of the restaurant due to the slow service.Posted on ChristineVerified The food was amazing and our waiter, Scott, was outstanding!Posted on RonVerified Great place! You can make Brady's your go to spot from a burger & beer to a fine dining experience.Posted on Lou AnnVerified We had a large group and our server was outstanding especially informed about food allergies and we all enjoyed our meals.Posted on MaryVerified The service was friendly and attentive. The classic burger was amazing! And the Santa Fe chopped salad was great too.Posted on HayatVerified I had a great time, food was delicious, and everyone was so nice and kind! The service was great as well.Posted on JoanVerified Great waiter, great food. Always a great experience!Posted on BrianVerified Enjoyed lunch at Jim Brady’s. Great location with convenient free parking. Large menu with lots of choices. I had the Ahi Tuna Salad which was excellent. Friendly service.
